  • The brushmakers’ shop was placed there. It was not surrounded by a wall, but it was a closed camp isolated from the main ghetto and other shop. It was placed precisely between Walowa Street, a part of Swietojerska Street - bordering on the Krasinski's Garden - Bonifraterska and Franciszkanska Street. It was not allowed to go beyond its area and even looking out of the window threatened with being shot by Latvians and Ukrainians on watch. Work in the shop was easy. It was monitored by Jewish management and there was puny payment for it. Life in the shop was calm and monotonous.
