  • born 23 December 1892; residing in Warsaw at Marszalkowska Street No. 140, flat 9; she had an ID No. SJ 2360066, issued by the Municipal Station of the Citizens' Militia (KMMO) Warsaw on 15 February 1963; during the German occupation she hid Jews from the Gestapo, i.e.: Janina Berlinska nee Sadowski, her husband Jan Edwart Berlinski, Maria Sadowska and occasionally many other Jews, whose names she did not know; not only did she expose herself to tragic consequences of hiding Jews, but completely selflessly served with her advice and help in all cases, whenever there was a necessity like that; at present she is a lonely, ill pensioner (her pension is 600 zl/month and does not provide for basic needs)
