  • Jacob, no title. A description of the author's war experiences begins with the Polish-German War of 1939 (escape from Warsaw and return). The author moved from the ghetto to the 'Aryan side', lived at Julia Rogowinska's at Praga, he traded. From 16 May 1943 he hid and avoided leaving his flat (a few times he left Warsaw for smuggling). The part of the diary from years 1943-1944 mainly includes information about military activities taken from newspapers, rumours (among other things about Polish underground organisations), occasional poems and information about Julia's family. The diary breaks off in mid-sentence at a description of the situation in Warsaw at the end of July 1944. The unknown for his surname author was a bookkeeper, he died in the Warsaw uprising.
