An engineer, had a Jewish wife and went with her to the ghetto where they stayed until 6 October 1941. Horbaczewski helped Jews get to the "Aryan" side, provided help, offered shelter.
(2)A professor, PhD in engineering, his grandfather fought in the Uprising in 1831, his father fought in 1863. He was a member of a party of socialists-revolutionaries, emigrated to the USA after 1905, studies; since 1907 studies in Saint Petersburg; 1919 - comes back to Poland, since 1922 was Wawelberg's lecturer, fired.
