A Bund member. Before the war he was a traveling salesman, and earned a good living. In the ghetto his material situation was bad. He was an active social worker. He regularly attended social workers' meetings, which took place every Saturday. He wouldn't miss them despite the fact that once a week, at this very time, he had the opportunity to eat his fill- he was invited to lunch every Saturday by his friend. Finally the time of the meeting was changed for him.
