A representative of the Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB) on the 'Aryan side'. A member of Haszomer Hacair. He was responsible for mediating in arms supply in the ghetto, among others. He was arrested by the Gestapo just after buying a weapon from a Pole; taken away from the house with other lodgers. He was tortured, he did not betray anyone. He was deported from Pawiak to the camp in Kaweczynska Street by mistake; contacted the Jewish underground and came back to the ghetto. He commanded a ZOB unit during the first clashes with the Germans during the Second Action. He fought with Edelman at Franciszkanska Street No. 30. He committed suicide during the uprising in the ghetto at Mila Street No. 18
