  • Before the war she was Miss Warsaw. Her first husband - Jechiel (Henryk Kopyto). After divorce she married a Pole - Edward Zakrzewski. They lived at Kredytowa Street No. 2. She hid with her husband at the 'Aryan side'. After the suicide of her husband she returned to son Bronek to the ghetto. With her son she smuggled food to the ghetto and then the Jews from the Eastern Poland to the Warsaw ghetto. She was imprisoned at Gesia Street. During the First Action she was saved from the deportation by a brother -policeman (he said she was his wife). She left with Bronek to Lvov. She was imprisoned in the Janow camp. There are no records about her death. Her son Lulek was killed in Buchenwald.
