  • Memoirs of a young girl, who spends the beginning of the war and occupation with her family in Warsaw. She loses most of her friends and relatives there. She is left almost alone and decides to fight for her life in an another city - Czestochowa. Living partly in the ghetto, partly outside she collaborates, among others, with the Jewish underground. Thanks to her contacts with Poles supports and helps her compatriots who live in the ghetto. Arrested after the liquidation of the Czestochowa ghetto and subsequently sent to forced labour to Germany. She begins to write down her memoirs there.
