  • Before the war he studied at Warsaw University, and was a teacher in the Centos (the Central Organization for Orphan Care) boarding house. After the outbreak of war he was engaged in social activity in Lvov. Since 1942 in the Warsaw ghetto. In the Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB) staff he represented the Polish Workers' Party (PPR). On 8 May he found himself in the bunker at Mila Street No. 18, he managed, however, to escape. He left the ghetto through sewers on 10 May, and together with the others joined the partisans in the woods near Wyszkow. He was the unit's commander. In the village Krawcowizna his group was taken by surprise by the Germans. He died in combat.
