  • A tailor, employed in a factory working for the German Army. In July 1942 he was arrested - accidentally, in the house at Nowolipki Street No 36, where he stayed for a night. Together with him, Germans were leading two caretakers, accused of smuggling, to kill them. The prisoners tried to fight with their bare hands - they died. In revenge Germans killed 110 people. The tailor survived, wounded in his leg, after showing the documents from the factory. He was the only witness of the incident, who knew the reason of the bloody retaliation against the ghetto.
