  • Franc and Wanda found a new hiding place for David. It is an abandoned casino outside Otwock. David feels lonely and isolated and waits impatiently for Wanda's visits. On her second visit she brings harrowing news. The remaining Jews in the ghetto are fighting the Germans. The Germans have set fire to the ghetto and they're expanding their search for escaped Jews. Wanda and David won't be able to see each other so often any more.
