  • Before the war he worked as a proofreader in the magazine 'Moment'. He was involved in the Union of Writers. The details of his death are unknown. He survived the fist bombings, occupation and capitulation of Warsaw in September 1939. He was found dead in the morning, on a table in the office of the TOZ (The Society for the Protection of the Health of the Jewish Population in Poland) at Gesia Street No 43 where he used to spend nights. It was in the third month of the war.
