With his brother (?), he ran a company in the ghetto, which collected metal plates and glass. He was deported to Treblinka with his wife and three little daughters. He worked there covering with soil the ditches with corpses of murdered people. When he saw the corpses of his children in the ditch, he killed two German guards with a spade. Shot on the spot. His niece's (brother's daughter) husband was a policeman - Jakub Frydman.
