From 1943 she took care of a Jewish couple - she found a flat for them; from May 1943 to July 1944, she hid a man at her place and helped them financially. After denunciation, just before the Warsaw uprising broke out, she moved the couple to Wiersze, a village in the Kampinos Forest (Puszcza Kampinoska).
