  • Dearest daughter of the famous conductor - Dawid Ajzensztadt. She was brought up in musical atmosphere. From her early years, she was very talented in singing and playing the piano. Just before the outbreak of the war she finished Jewish junior high school. She was 18 years old when the ghetto was closed. She performed singing classical repertoire as well as Jewish and Hebrew folk songs. She also performed as a soloist in association with the great symphony orchestra. Died during the first action. In a blockade her beloved father was drove to the Umschlagplatz. Marysia forced her way to him and didn't want to part with him. The SS-men killed her on the spot.
