He was deported to Auschwitz and then to Warsaw to a camp. He was liberated by the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. He fought in the ranks of The People's Army (Armia Ludowa) in the Old Town. After the uprising he hid with 9 companions in the bunker in the Kozla Street. Probably all of them died.
