  • In July 1942 she was interned at Pawiak with her mother, daughter and her two sisters (they probably had an American citizenship). On 30 October she was released from prison due to daughter's illness. She was allowed to live on the 'Ayran' side'. She managed to get a temporary release for her sisters. They came back to Pawiak around 17 of December 1942 because the date of foreigners' departure was approaching. She brought Pawiak's prisoners exact information about crimes committed at Treblinka. On the 'Ayran side', she encountered a lot of problems from the Poles. Although she had an official permit to stay outside the ghetto, the Poles did not want to rent her a flat, and denounced her to the Gestapo.
