  • A 15 or 16-year-old girl from Haszomer Hacair. She lost her friend, whom she loved, in the ghetto. At the beginning of April 1943 she left the ghetto with her friends. On their way to the monastery, where she was supposed to hide (Irena Adamowicz, who was Polish, fixed this place) the girls were accosted in the street by three, young Polish men. Pnina wanted to defend her younger friends and was raped. In the monastery she suffered spiritually, missing the Jewish surroundings. She left the monastery and came to the Hotel Polski.
