  • On 23 November 1939 he got married in Lodz (the wedding was carried out secretly due to the German ordinance prohibiting Jewish people to marry). Afterwards he stayed in Warsaw. He was employed to collect bricks, which were to be used to build the walls of the ghetto (June 1941). Since July 1941 he worked as a helper of the caretaker from Sienna Street No. 41. (Wattenberg was the caretaker, he gave Perc all the money directly received for his help). In autumn 1941 he went through a severe form of typhus. Ca. 9 April he went to Zaklikowo Lubelskie. He probably witnessed the slaughter of Jews in Lublin.
