  • More then 50 years old. He lived in Warsaw, in Gesia Street. He owned a small factory in Praga, where cauldrons were produced. He had a wife - Sara, and two children: a daughter called Rojzele, who was 16 when the war started, and a son- Josele, aged 13. When the Germans entered Warsaw they were all put in the ghetto. After some time they contacted the Pawluks (Pawluk worked with Ichazkiel before the war), who lived at Zurawia Street No. 14. When they left the ghetto they hid with the Pawluks on the 'Aryan side', until the Germans found their hideout. The Germans killed Ichazkiel's wife and children. He owed his life to his job. The Germans sent him to the Pawiak prison, where he stayed until the outbreak of the Warsaw uprising. Ichazkel took part in the uprising. after the uprising, he hid for four months until the liberation in a bunker. After leaving the bunker nobody has heard of him.
