Before the war he had considerable achievements in Polish school he went to. In the ghetto he was with his 14 year old sister of whom he took care in a moving way. They used to eat dinners in the kitchen at Leszno Street No. 40. They had one little pot and one spoon. They lived in the attic in terrible conditions, they sold out all their equipment. They had a panic fear of being sent to the hospital. He died on the stairs of his house and probably lay there several days.
