  • Młodzież z Łodzi założyła Łódzki Zespół Artystyczny (ŁZA). Przedstawiciel Jointu zwrócił się do zespołu z prośbą o przygotowanie przedstawienia na fundusz pomocy uchodźcom z Łodzi. Młodzież kilkakrotnie dawała przedstawienia, śpiewając, recytując i tańcząc. Zyski były znaczne. Członkowie ŁZA stali się popularni wśród warszawiaków. Przedstawienia odbywały się w biurze Wspólnego Komitetu Dystrybucyjnego (Jointu).
