Her parents were in the ghetto in Janow Podlaski, while she was at the place of a peasant; then, till the end of the war, she was being hidden by Maria Lapicz, who found the girl in The Eastern Railway Station (Dworzec Wschodni) in Warsaw; she was being hidden in Warsaw not far away from the ghetto, she saw the burning ghetto
