  • Kaplan's close friend. One of the best Hebrew teachers in Warsaw. Before the war he worked in Tarbut school. In the ghetto, he worked in the administration of the Judenrat. He lived in Nowolipki Street. On 4 August 1942, in the evening, he came to Kaplan; he wanted to leave at his place a few things, as he was afraid of deportation. During the First Action deportation, he bought himself a job in a factory for the only valuable thing that he had left (a gemstone worth couple thousand zloty) to stay in the Productive Ghetto.
