    She was born in Warsaw. When she was to-years-old the war begun. She left the ghetto in 1942. She was raised by Catholic nuns outside Warsaw.
    In July 1943 her family re-joined in Hotel Polski. They were transported to a concentration camp - Bergen- Belsen. In April 1945 came the release and she travelled with her parents to France.
    In June 1945 she arrived with her family in Palestine.
    In 1946 she was placed in a Kibbutz outside Haifa. When she was 16, she transferred to a nursing school, completed a four-year course and became an X-ray nurse. She married in 1960 and has a daughter and two grandsons.
    She still lives in Israel.

    W sierpniu 1942 roku zostaje przemycona na stonę aryjską z getta, trafia do polskiej rodziny i przyjmuje fałszywe imię - Maria Kurkowska. Jej rodzice musieli się ukrywać - w Otwocku i Konstancinie. W lipcu 1943 cała rodzina zgłasza się do Hotelu Polskiego w Warszawie, po czym zostają wywiezieni do obozu koncentracyjnego w Bergen-Belsen. W obozie przebywa razem z rodzicami do kwietnia 1945 roku. Po wyzwoleniu wyjeżdżają do Paryża. Następnie wyjeżdżają na stałe do Izraela.
