  • The chief cutter in K. G. Schultz's shop. A refugee from the Lodz ghetto, where he had his business. Kohn and Heller brought him for 9,000 zl. He had a wife and a 4-years-old daughter. In the shop, he became a friend of Schmidt. They were together during the round-up in Mila Street. He helped the Schmidts in September 1942, during the blockade of the shop (hiding Leokadia with the child). Eichel’s wife had a brother, who was a policeman. He got his sister and her child out of the round-up and put them in the shop in Stawki Street.
