  • She lived in Warsaw with her mother and sister, the father died in 1937. After the outbreak of war they moved to an aunt. The girls stopped going to school and started to work. They managed until closure of the ghetto, then they started to starve, and tough times began. The mother gradually sold out their entire belongings. She placed the girls in a half boarding house at Nowolipki Street No. 25, and left on her own. She wrote that she could provide for herself.
