  • Before the war he lived in Cracow. He was a well-known ophtalmologist and the lieutenant-colonel in the Polish Army. In 1939 he went to Lviv. When the Germans came there in 1941 he used his Polish documents. He was in the Cracow ghetto, in the Montelupich prison and hid in Warsaw. After the war he went to the United States and lived in New York where he died in 1962.
