After the closure of the Jewish district, he left for the country and sent his family food parcels. Her father decided to leave with the children as well, he sold his flat and belongings, but was caught, deprived of money and sent back to the ghetto. Mania and her younger brother went to the half-boarding house at Nowolipki Street No. 25.
