    The conductor of a symphony orchestra in the Warsaw ghetto. Before the war he was a professor in the Viennese conservatory and then in the conservatory in Paris. Thanks to him the ghetto orchestra was of a high artistic standard. In the ghetto, he was also a conductor of a twelve-piece chamber orchestra.
