  • He worked in a kitchen for children in the Borchow school building at Nowolipki Street No. 68; he took care of written materials of Ringleblum's Archive, he was an archive worker of the Archive. At the end of the First Action he hid in Nowolipki Street No. 68. After the First Action, together with Ringelblum he lived in Nowolipki Street. He also worked in this street, in Halman's carpenter company. On 3 August 1942 he buried materials he was in charge of. They were dug out from beneath the ruing of the house at Nowolipki Street No. 68 in September 1968. Lichtensztajn died, probably, on the night 18/19 April 1943, when, after a meeting with Ringelblum, he was trying to get to Nowolipki Street.
