  • She attended a Bund school at Krochmalna Street No. 36 / Volksschule with Jewish language of instruction and obligatory Polish/, she graduated in 1936. In the ghetto she worked in a dye workshop, then in a stockings factory on the 'Aryan side'. She lost her parents and six siblings in the ghetto. During the uprising she was seperated with her fiancé, Mietek Rosenzweig. She was deported to the labour camp in Majdanek, and volunteered to go to Auschwitz from there. After evacuating the camp she found herself in Ravensbrueck and Neustadt. After the war they searched after each other with her fiancé, but with no results. They finally met years later, When Bluma was married to Abram Shadur. Bluma lives in Israel.
