  • A young housemistress in the sanatorium in Falenica, graduated from the Jewish teacher training college in Vilna. She arrived to the sanatorium with a group of children from the boarding house 'Our Hive' ('Nasz Ul'), which was liquidated after the closing the ghetto. She was disregarded and disliked by the management of the sanatorium. She prepared with children performances and ballet shows on the occasions of various feasts. The author knew her from Warsaw where she worked as a common room supervisor teaching children in Yiddish. The author wanted to employ her in a library, but did not have sufficient resources; they kept up a correspondence with each other. Presumably, she died in Zofiowka (sanatorium for mentally ill patients in Otwock) (19 August 1942?), where she was sent after a nervous breakdown.
