In August 1942, during the First Action, she escaped with her six friends from a train to Treblinka. She was a member of the Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB) in the brush factory. She fought in the uprising. Together with her brothers she was to hide in Pludy, in a peasant's house. They all died betrayed by the landlord.

She was three years older than Jurek. She looked after her brothers, and the whole Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB) unit in the brush factory, like a mother.
